Heinz reinvents the Ketchup packet.

“Heinz struggled for years to develop a container that lets diners dip or squeeze, and to produce it at a cost acceptable to its restaurant customers.”

really? Years? I’m pretty sure McDonalds has been serving it’s honey mustard, BBQ, ranch, & sweet & sour sauce in almost the exact same container for years. It’s basically the same thing, except there’s a little slit you can rip off and squeeze it too. Oh, and it’s shaped like a ketchup bottle. Go figure, eh? They must all be geniuses or brain surgeons.

“Rants about the messy packs have helped spawn hundreds of anti-ketchup-packet groups on Facebook.”

I’m glad this is news.
